Finding my voice, as momma sometimes calls it, has been something I always struggled with. No matter how many instruments I try, it feels like its just a waste of time. Like I don't even have a voice to find...
Music runs through my blood, flows in my veins, but its like something is blocking it from reaching my fingertips. Like there's just... something... in the way. I don't know what it is, but its there...
Everyone tells me to just relax, to just let it happen when it happens. Keep trying new things but don't let it drive you crazy... but its really not as easy as they make it sound! Without music of my own, I feel like I don't quite belong sometimes...

Although I can't seem to find my voice, I like a lot of other peoples' voices! When you're raised in a world that might as well be a piece of sheet music it would be pretty hard not to, wouldn't it?
My all time favorite is the Beatles, hands-down. No contest! Some of their songs are so happy and fun, while others just touch the heart in a way words can't express.
I try not to be judgemental about music, approaching every band with an open mind, but my preferences can be pretty obvious. I really like Journey, Queen, Daft Punk, Rush, Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins, Tegan and Sara, Metallica, Regina Spektor, Megadeth, Depeche Mode, Motley Crue, David Bowie... The list just goes on and on!
